Tech by Dimitri LLC ("TbD," "we," "us," or "our") operates techbydimitri.com, the Free Audit tool, and the forms connected to both. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
The Short Version
- We collect what you give us directly (name, email, business details) plus basic site-usage data.
- We use it to run your Free Audit, respond to your inquiry, and — if you become a client — deliver your project.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- You can unsubscribe, request a copy of your data, or ask us to delete it at any time. See Section 7.
- Full detail below.
1. Who We Are
Tech by Dimitri LLC is a Wyoming limited liability company operating from Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, serving businesses primarily located in the United States. This policy covers techbydimitri.com and any forms, subdomains, or tools we operate that connect to it.
It does not cover third-party sites we link to, or any signed service agreement between you and TbD — your contract controls where its terms conflict with this policy. For the rules governing your use of this site, see our Terms of Service.
2. Information We Collect
You provide this directly:
- Free Audit tool: website URL, business name, your name, email address, and — if you choose to add them — zip code and industry.
- Newsletter: your email address, and your name if you provide one.
- Contact and inquiry forms: your name, email, and your message.
- Discovery call scheduling: your name, email, phone number, and meeting details.
- Client onboarding: business and billing information, payment details (processed by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number), project assets, and the content of our communications.
We collect this automatically: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed, and an approximate location derived from your IP — gathered through cookies and similar technology (Section 4).
We receive this from others: payment confirmations from Stripe; meeting confirmations from scheduling tools. We do not buy personal information from data brokers or list vendors.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Run your Free Audit — we scan the public pages of the URL you submit, using diagnostic tools like Google PageSpeed Insights, and generate your report. We never access private, password-protected, or backend areas of your site.
- Respond to inquiries and schedule discovery calls.
- Send the newsletter, if you subscribed — every send includes an unsubscribe link, honored immediately.
- Track your inquiry through our sales pipeline, so follow-up happens on schedule instead of falling through the cracks.
- Deliver contracted services, including work managed through Command Center, your client portal, if you engage us.
- Process payments through Stripe.
- Measure site performance — what converts, what doesn't, what needs fixing.
- Meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, and investigate fraud or misuse.
We don't use Free Audit submissions for anything beyond generating your report and following up on it.
4. Cookies & Analytics
We run Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console to measure traffic and track conversion events — form submissions, button clicks, Free Audit requests. Both place cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions.
Block or delete cookies through your browser settings any time — the site keeps working, our analytics on your visit stop. We do not sell information gathered through cookies, and we do not currently serve cross-context behavioral advertising based on activity on this site.
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the providers below, and only to run the business.
- Stripe — processes payments.
- Supabase — hosts our secure database.
- Vercel — hosts techbydimitri.com.
- Cloudflare — content delivery and security.
- Resend — delivers transactional emails and the newsletter.
- Google (Analytics 4 / Search Console) — website analytics.
- Our CRM system — tracks your inquiry through our sales pipeline.
- ClickUp — internal project management (client engagements only).
If you engage TbD for services, information necessary to complete your project may be accessible to Guild specialists assigned to your account — our vetted network of freelance specialists, each bound by confidentiality obligations to TbD.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or anyone's safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale — and we'll notify you before your information becomes subject to a different policy.
6. Data Retention
Free Audit and inquiry data: retained up to 24 months if you don't become a client, then deleted or anonymized. Client business, project, and billing records: retained for the length of our engagement, plus whatever additional period tax and accounting law requires. Newsletter data: retained until you unsubscribe.
7. Your Privacy Rights
United States. Depending on your state, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold, request a copy, ask us to correct or delete it, and opt out of its sale or of "sharing" for cross-context advertising. We do neither, so there's nothing to opt out of on that front — but ask anyway if you want confirmation. We honor recognized opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control, where required. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
Outside the United States. If data protection law where you live — the EU or UK GDPR, for example — applies to you, you additionally have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict our use of your information, receive a portable copy, object to certain processing, and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Brazil. Because we operate from Salvador, Bahia, Brazil's Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD) also governs how we handle your information, with equivalent rights of access, correction, deletion, and portability.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us — Section 13.
8. Data Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) across the site, access controls on our internal systems, and vetted infrastructure providers. No system is 100% secure and we can't promise otherwise — but we treat your data like it matters, because it does.
9. International Data Transfers
We operate from Brazil; our infrastructure providers run primarily in the United States. If you're located elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States and Brazil. Using techbydimitri.com means you understand and accept that transfer.
10. Children's Privacy
This site is built for business owners and decision-makers — not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 (or 16, where local law sets a higher bar). If we learn we have, we'll delete it.
11. Third-Party Links
Our site links to case studies, social profiles, Guild specialist portfolios, and other third-party destinations. This policy stops applying the moment you leave techbydimitri.com — check the destination's own policy.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our tools, tech stack, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top always reflects the current version. Material changes will be flagged on the site, or by email if you're a subscriber or client.
